We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team within our LoanVantage group at Jack Henry.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing information derived from various sources to assist multiple development teams in enhancing the LoanVantage product.
The ideal candidate has substantial experience within the financial industry.
They have excellent attention to details and can effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams.
This role works closely with the Development team and Product Management to define features, describe bugs and expected behavior, and test the finished product.
This position will be filled to work Remotely within the U.
S.
The target salary range for this position is $76,296-$120,000 based on location and experience.
What you’ll be responsible for: Interact with Product Management to learn product requirements.
Define the system and functional requirements of the product.
Prepare business requirements and functional specifications.
Serve as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities.
Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
May perform application, system, and regression tests.
Create business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
Work with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
Interact with technical teams to convey business requirements.
Conduct internal stakeholder training on new features.
Occasionally interact with customers to research issues or understand features.
Manage sprint case work for Report team.
Perform financial spread conversions using Excel to map data from previous financial statement spread product and convert to LoanVantage spread product.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have: A minimum of 6 years of experience in retail lending or evaluating software specification for analysis, testing, or reporting.
Experience as a Business Analyst or an Analyst in a bank or FinTech environment.
Strong knowledge of Accounting, or experience with Balance Sheets and Income Statements.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of the financial industry.
Strong project management skills.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and customer interaction skills.
Experience defining system and functional requirements.
(moved from nice to have) Excellent attention to details.
Ability to travel up to 5% to attend a JHA meeting, training, and/or professional conferences.
What would be nice for you to have: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with LoanVantage, Atlassian Jira or Confluence products.
Experience with SQL.
Ability to interact with and communicate well with other technical associates.
