Job Summary: Raytheon is looking for a candidate to join our world-class team as a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer.
In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.
This position is located onsite in Richardson, Texas (Cityline) Responsibilities to Anticipate: Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
Ability to pass polygraphs and obtain program access.
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of engineering experience.
6+ years’ software development experience.
3+ years' experience developing complex applications with Java.
Security+ Certification.
Experience with Agile and DevSecOps toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Cucumber.
Active and transferable U.
S.
government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
U.
S.
citizenship is required, as only U.
S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies.
Experience with building automated tests.
Proven problem solving and analytical abilities.
