Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo.
You'll collaborate on small project teams consisting of other engineers to get the job done.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions.
Provides support to the business.
Troubleshoots business and production issues.
Work with application engineers and data scientists to define the requirements for the data products that the team creates Develop and maintain data schemas and dictionaries; defines metadata Build data system and data quality monitoring process and ensure health of the big data system Debug and maintain data pipelines Develop data APIs to support analytics and data science products What you'll bring: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science and 4 years experience in software engineering or related field OR 6 years experience in software engineering or related field.
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker Relational and/or NoSQL Database experience Strong ability in problem solving - Worked on monitoring and alerting tools - Experience with configuring or implementing Build & Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and infrastructure as a service.
