The IT Application Analyst will provide application/technical information system support.
Design, analyze, build, test, train and support assigned applications.
Facilitate issue resolution, providing alternative solutions to problems and proactively enhancing application design and implementation.
Exempt (Salaried – not eligible for overtime).
Core Job Responsibilities and Skills:
Develops and maintains in depth understanding of clinical, financial or other specialized systems assigned
Develops specific technical skills to support clinical, financial or other specialized systems as needed
Provides consultation on complex projects
Participates in the implementation of multiple concurrent major projects
Understands and contributes to strategies used to integrate systems
Evaluates automated systems and provides recommendations regarding their compatibility and applicability to business process
Audits and tests new system and systems modifications
Plans and coordinates projects for implementation, upgrade or modification of systems
Leads and/or participates in team activities as part of systems implementation or management projects as assigned
Assists the user community with evaluation and definition of their needs
Develops meaningful, practical, cost-effective recommendations/solutions for user problems
Develops clear and accurate documentation/findings that have supportable conclusions
Contributes to the development and implementation of data security and privacy standards.
Maintains awareness of trends and current practices in the IT and Healthcare industry through ongoing learning and research
Works with software vendors in implementing systems and resolving systems issues
Provides training to other staff as required
Assumes On Call duties as needed
Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
Maintains safe environment
Participates in Performance Improvement activities

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and six (6) years of related experience
Work experience may substitute for minimum education requirement
EPIC certification required
Compensation
Pay: $66,768 - $106,704 annually.
Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Staff level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
