Job Title: Senior Specialist, Program Management Job Location: Greenville, Texas This Program Manager (PM) position has responsibility for leading with the program team to lead critical corporate wide projects from request for proposal (RFP), to design and deliver requirements.
This includes the responsibility for leading the proposal preparation and internal and external negotiation, preparation of SOW specifications and contract performance (cost, schedule, and quality).
The PM manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
This position manages a large emerging Program of Record for a DoD customer, and requires simultaneously managing Product Production and Non-Recurring Engineering.
The PM will also be responsible for briefing customer, user, and upper management on all facets of the program.
The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones.
The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
Frequent customer, user, and upper management interaction is routine.
This position will be as the PM for leading various projects and initial concept through fully complete projects with requisite delivery.
The PM will work alongside our finance team for requirements associated with financial data collection, reporting, and variance justification for multiple contracts making up the entire Program of Record.
The PM will be responsible for leading the overall integration of the program integrated master schedule (IMS) with tracking and reporting system.
The PM will be responsible for forging productive relationships with internal customers, such as engineering, finance, business development and manufacturing to ensure all are strategically and tactically engaged on business objectives.
The PM will be afforded opportunities for problem solving and innovation are undefined or where information is difficult to obtain.
The PM will make substantial improvements to systems and processes to improve overall performance of the Program Qualifications: Position requires an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain which requires U.
S.
citizenship Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 4 years experience with DoD RFPs, Proposal Development, and successful proposals Minimum of 4 years experience with managing Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects Minimum of 4 years experience developing or enhancing plans and policies for organizational excellence 15% Travel may be required to support customer requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills: Position requires the flexibility to work on short notice, overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Must have experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Active Top Secret or higher clearance Working knowledge of system-level requirements, design practices, hardware specification, and development is desired.
Experience with US DoD proposals and programs is desired Applicant will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
