Summary:
In this role, you will maintain and improve functionality of the infrastructure and operational environments that support Vizient’s information technology environment.
You will support internal and external customers and evaluate applicable requirements to provide appropriate technical specifications and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with other cloud team members to establish governance, enforce security, and define standards.
Align with application development to help teams with design, build, test, and deployment activities.
Assist in evaluating new technologies in the cloud space to drive efficiencies, improve process, and help support business initiatives.
Continually drive towards improvement of Vizient’s cloud infrastructure and ecosystem.
Identify manual processes that can be automated and provide suggestions for improvement.
Maintain the company’s cloud infrastructure.
Maintain a secure-first mindset to thwart possible cybersecurity threats.
Support automated release tools to allow for continuous build and release processes.
Troubleshoot code and assist with the resolution of coding issues when needed, including Typescript, Angular, and .
Net.
Work with our technical writers to ensure thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
Computer Science or similar degree preferred.
2 or more years of hands-on experience with cloud providers required.
Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, Github and other workflows required.
Knowledge of container apps and container Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker preferred.
Experience with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud preferred.
Experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or Octopus Deploy preferred.
Hands-on experience provisioning Infrastructure as Code preferred.
You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$68,500.
00 - $99,400.
