The Road Breakdown Coordinator is responsible for directing drivers, in coordination with other shop employees and maintenance providers, in the diagnosis and repair of road breakdowns of company equipment.
Responsibilities include:
* Responds to and processes calls and messages from drivers notifying of a service problem or road breakdown or road emergency.
* Utilize web based applications to locate drivers and nearest repair facilities.
* Manages driver inquiries and problems as they relate to breakdown and time.
* Prioritizes and schedules repairs according to urgency.
Approves and authorizes repairs and negotiates repair cost payments.
* Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, driver managers, and other internal personnel regarding delay and break down updates.
* Responsible for the maintenance of records relating to breakdowns, repairs, costs, and any other applicable information about service providers.
* Evaluate invoices for accuracy of all charges and issue payment to vendors.
* Verify maintenance records pertaining to unit repair history.
* Ensure awareness of and enforce company policies.
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
* Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent degree or equivalent experience in position
* Microsoft Office Suite and AS400 experience a plus
* Must be able to plan and organize, have astute attention to detail, and possess problem solving and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to read and interpret invoices and other related documents
* Courteous, but assertive, and effective communication with vendors, drivers, and other internal personnel

Employee must be capable of communicating with drivers & other peers in a professional manner, representing a high level of professionalism and customer service.

This position may require long periods of sitting, utilizing a computer and telephone.
Must be able to bend and stoop.

Pay: $52,780.
00 - $57,271.
