JOB DESCRIPTION
Over see the generating of sales to create gross profit margin for sales territories, quotas, goals, and training in sales division
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
• Confer with customers to obtain profitable purchase orders
• Obtain and generate quotes
• Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers
• Work with manufacturers to insure correct and timely delivery
• Resolve customer issues regarding sales and service
• Work backorder reports, Mfg.
SPA Agreements
• Expedite open purchase orders and resolve any issues
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
To accomplish the functions and responsibilities the following skill sets must be present:
• Knowledge of electrical and lighting products
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to maneuver and work within Trend performing sales and inventory queries
• Ability to read blueprints
• Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook features
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills – written and oral
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for generating gross profit margin and meeting sales goals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is approximately 70% desk related work, with 25% walking or standing, and 5% lifting demands less than 50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
Requirements are office based, with some exposure to an environmentally protected warehouse.
Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm but may require several hours outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings and projects.
