About the role
The purpose of this position is to plan and lead the procurement function for all facility services and supplies for a real estate portfolio for CBRE’s Global Telecom Client
What you’ll do
Develops, plans, prioritizes and implements national/regional contracting and procurement strategies and programs to increase operational efficiency and profitability.
Develops standardized systems and controls for procurement including RFP documentation, work authorization, purchase and change order systems, and supplier/contractor eligibility criteria.
Ability to handle multiple stakeholder relationships and problem-solving.
Develops and handles relationships with national/regional suppliers and contractors and assist in contract negotiations
Serves as key point of contact for utilization management and coordination with outside procurement/e-procurement solutions.
Develops company-wide policies and procedures, playbooks and other interpersonal materials with respect to national/regional procurement.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop proficiencies.
Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
What you’ll need
Bachelors degree or equivalent; Minimum five years experience working in a similar role with an organization of a comparable size within the last three years.

Certifications or eligibility preferred
Strong analytical abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities, areas and processes that could be optimized, and potential areas of risk.
Experience leading procurement for large portfolios; 10M s/f and above and running third party spend of at least $100M+ is helpful.
Requires sophisticated knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products and Internet navigation.
Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
