We are currently looking for a full-time Social Services Director with experience working in a skilled nursing facility long term care facility.
*PRIMARY ROLE*
Responsible for the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluation, and directing of Social Service Programs in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures, to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, recreational, and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.
*SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS*
* Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
* Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
* Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
* Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
* Must be a LBSW or LMSW.
* Current Social Work license in the state of Texas.
* Must have at least one (1) year experience working in a skilled nursing home and long term care setting.
