Including coordinating logistics to ensure the right equipment is at the right time with continuously improving efficiency.
The role is a part of the Inflight Dining and Service team within our Inflight group.

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
Oversight to deliver AA inflight dining related equipment, beverages, select food and soft goods across the global network.
Establishing departmental process to maintain par levels at warehouses and caterers across the network to provide our customers and caterers a reliable supply chain Develop and maintain forecasting and analytics tools to support caterer, distributor, warehouse and internal needs for all managed products Collaborates with key stakeholders to define and deliver all product and equipment requirements including Procurement, Inflight, Finance, Customer Experience and external suppliers Responsible to adjust needs and communicate status for stations start-ups, seasonal volume changes, inflight dining and service changes and supporting Procurement related activities such as RFPs Works collaboratively with Finance and Procurement to maintain and budget thresholds and understand spending impacts of service level and equipment related changes Continually Identifies process improvements to drive supply chain efficiencies and/or operational improvements and present to senior leaders Develops and educates team on key elements of American warehousing, logistics, and distribution systems Maintain continuous communication with fellow stakeholders on impacts to supply chain and develop contingency plans as needed Establish expectations and priorities, monitor departmental performance, coach and develop, and create a positive, collaborative work environment.
All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree 5 years of experience leading teams and large scale projects requiring cross departmental and external supplier relationships Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Strong aptitude and experience communicating & collaborating with other departments Experience creating forecasting tools and defining new process to streamline operational efficiencies.
Proficient computer skills including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to lead and motivate others Must be able to write and deliver presentations to all levels of management, including senior leadership Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Experience with inventory management forecasting methods desired Skills, Licenses & Certifications Some travel and the ability to work varying schedules required What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
