The Senior Operations Implementation Program Manager delivers on our Purpose by overseeing all aspects of program and project Leadership for large, highly complex , highly visib le programs over the entire life of operation-wide strategic initiatives.
This role coordinates across multiple projects to ensure they are working in tandem and aligning with overall business goals.
The Senior Operations Implementation Program Manager is a strategic thinker who looks forward to building relationships with all departments across Southwest.

Responsibilities Mentors program and project teams to achieve superior results Works closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, key requirements, required resources, work plan, budget, timing, and appropriate program and project governance structure and processes for new initiatives Drives business objectives and values, the scope/timeline/budget, and business and technical risks to make sound strategic recommendations to program Leadership Coordinates across multiple projects and ensures plans, artifacts and corrective actions work in tandem across departments and projects within the program Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks Communicates updates related to assigned programs to all Levels within the organization Drives conversations with senior Leadership and influences program Stakeholders at all levels Accountable for day-to-day decisions as determined by program Leadership Provides support and guidance for business, operational and technology initiated programs and provides thought Leadership to program Stakeholders Builds and nurtures strategic relationships with Senior Leadership at all levels May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of program and project processes, problem management tools and procedures Knowledge of business and technology processes and implementation procedures including change Leadership disciplines Knowledge of MS Project, Visio, MS Office Suite including SharePoint Ability to provide direction in a Team oriented environment, directing tasks to finish by scheduled completion date Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, at all levels Ability to contend with the range and complexity of large business problems Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in: Project management Issue and risk management Change management practices Building trust and relationships with all levels of Employees and Leadership Licensing/Certification N/A Physical Abilities Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job Other Qualifications Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines Must be a U.

citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $144,200 per year to $160,200 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
