Summer Camp Counselor & Lead Lifeguard

*JOB SUMMARY* Responsible for assisting the lead lifeguard with planning and executing pool operations for Summer Camp.
Assist Lead Lifeguard in managing pool operations and oversee summer water safety and swimming program.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* · Open & Close Pool during summer camp (40 hours a week June 1st -August 2nd.
) · Assist in testing PH of pool water daily & contact site manager or director when levels are off · Prepare equipment and material for each day’s water activities.
· Ensures that the facility policies, rules, safety standards, and sanitation requirements are followed.
· Supports the Mission, Values, and Vision of Catholic Charities of Dallas.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
*SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS*: · High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
· One year of related work experience with youth and pool operations.
· Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not necessary.
· Public health screenings or immunizations as indicated by program.
· CPR/First Aid Trainings as required by program.
· Efficient time management skills required.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.
