Responsible for managing activities of the Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC) Food Services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure excellence in customer service, food quality and facility maintenance
Supervise and coordinate activities of all Main Street Café (MSC) staff and volunteers
Ensure staff understands MSC policies and service procedures
Recruit, train and develop staff and volunteers
Meet or exceed standards required by industry, health codes and the church
Ensure superior facility maintenance
Ensure food quality standards are met
Oversee the scheduling of all Main Street Café employees and contracted labor according to approved labor budgets
Report accurate inventory in a timely manner
Manage cash handling and expense account procedures for accurate accounting of money and inventory
Maintain, control and update Food Services Point-of-Sales systems
Review and submit invoices for payment
Model leadership through integrity, professionalism, and Biblical principles
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution including strategic planning, resource allocation, manpower modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods
Cash handling knowledge and skills with an understanding of audit/control processes and procedures
Knowledge for providing customer service including needs assessment, quality service standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation techniques
Knowledge and understanding of food handling practices and procedures
Excellent communication skills, bi-lingual a plus
Flexible schedule availability (early mornings and flexible days off must be able to work Sundays)
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, use their hands to control objects, bend or twist their body and life objects up to 40 lbs in weight
