Job Description: Manager - Support Services Division: Part 145
Classification: Full-time/Exempt Pay: Salary, plus benefits

Reports To: New Product Development Manager
Location: Addison
Required Education and Experience:
Previous experience as a procurement agent or similar position with increasing levels of responsibility
APICS Certification, a plus
General Accounting, Purchasing and/or Inventory Control coursework, required
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Some college coursework and/or aviation related coursework, a plus
Aviation industry preferred
Primary Duties: The Manager - Inventory & Customer Service is accountable for ordering materials and parts to support the requirements of AQRD entities
Responsible for Customer Communications, including quotes and status updates.
Responsible for managing the personnel who work in Purchasing, Inventory Control, & Production Control.
Manages the shipping requirements and is the administrator for all shipping accounts used by AQRD
Responsible for overseeing the vendor selection
Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier & customer relations
Safeguard company material and ensure inventory security
Provide secure storage and handling for sensitive items
Observe strict FAA and DOT regulatory compliance in all activities
Assist Accounting with monthly reconciliations
Ad hoc projects as requested by the Manager
Perform other duties as assigned within the job classification and nature of the business
Essential Functions and Competencies:
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must be able to supervise direct reports and provide coaching as required to ensure optimal performance
Current valid Driver's License
Works well independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications, intermediate level with Excel
Ability to become efficient with Quantum
Must possess interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a business-like manner with other people inside and outside the company
Must be self-motivated, conscientious and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high stress environment
Strong organizational skills
Punctual and reliable attendance, is required Accurate data entry, is required
Ability to complete work efficiently and meets deadlines
Abilities Requirements:

Able to lift 25 lbs.
Able to work in a shop environment subject to heat and cold as required
Able to travel to vendor facilities as necessary (travel <10%)
Accuracy with data entry
