Job Summary
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator supports and coordinates the learning and development strategy and key priorities.
This position works directly with the Learning and Development Manager to administer, monitor, and update the company’s learning management technology platform and third-party learning programs.
Essential Functions
Oversees the administrative function of the LMS, including ongoing updates, new learning experiences rollouts, assignments, audits, and learning metrics reporting.
Monitors LMS system functionality, identifying and resolving technical issues with LMS vendor.
Interfaces with third party vendors to curate existing training content for the LMS.
Ensures learning content is current and refreshed, as needed.
Acts as the LMS subject matter expert.
Stays up-to-date and informed of system features and updates and recommending changes as applicable to improve the user experience and/or to improve processes internally.
Facilitates LMS training with new team members including training team leaders and basic troubleshooting.
Oversees the administrative function of other learning programs outside the scope of the LMS, including metrics reporting.
Works with Instructional Designers in publication of new courses, including settings, assignments, automation rules, reporting and communication.
Creates training support for other departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including organization of documentation on internal website.
Curates and manages compliance-based training content in partnership with other departments.
Promotes and champions learning programs to drive engagement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

(K) One to two years LMS administrative experience.
(S)Excellent communication skills and comfortable working effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
(S)Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn new programs quickly.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
In office environment
Hybrid work schedule, as approved (must have reliable wi-fi)
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel
This job requires no planned business travel.
Education and Experience
High School graduation or equivalent is required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Combined LMS experience and administrative practices of five or more years with education is desirable.

Experience in technology platforms especially in the functions of configuration, reporting, dashboards, and data management
