We are seeking an experienced *Quality Control Manager - Aviation *with a strong background in airport operations to join our team.
As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and best practices within the airport environment.
Your role will involve overseeing quality control processes, implementing improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and Implement Quality Control Systems:
* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive quality control systems and procedures tailored to the unique requirements of airport operations.
* Establish quality control guidelines and standards to ensure adherence to applicable regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with relevant departments to define quality control objectives and performance metrics.
* Conduct Quality Audits and Inspections:
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures across various airport functions, such as security, baggage handling, passenger services, and facilities management.
* Identify areas of non-compliance, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and Monitor Quality Assurance Programs:
* Develop and manage quality assurance programs to monitor and evaluate the performance of airport service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
* Establish clear criteria and performance indicators to measure service quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular reviews and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with established standards and contractual agreements.
* Continuous Improvement and Training:
* Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement within airport operations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement improvement initiatives, standard operating procedures, and training programs.
* Provide training and guidance to airport personnel to ensure a consistent understanding and implementation of quality control procedures.
* Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
* Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality control practices.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, certifications, and audits related to airport operations.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including quality manuals, policies, procedures, and records.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, aviation management, quality management) is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or a similar role within the airport industry.
* In-depth knowledge of airport operations, regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards (e.
g.
, ICAO, FAA, TSA).
* Required to have a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
* Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage quality improvement initiatives.
* Certification in quality management (e.
