The Manager, Patient Access will support implementation of reimbursement education and distribution service plans to achieve product and corporate revenue and reimbursement objectives, meet customer needs, and help develop overall commercial excellence.
Responsibilities: Develops and executes geographical strategic and tactical plans to meet customer and business needs Interacts frequently with key stakeholders in multiple sites of care including: physician practices, hospitals and other sites Manages daily activities that support appropriate patient access in the provider offices and works as a liaison to any other patientassistance and access support services Reviews patient insurance benefit options Provides education and support to targeted accounts and HCPs on Searchlight Support and any relevant patient support programsand available patient access services (call center, web-based, etc.
) Provides assistance to key accounts to help overcome access barriers for key client stakeholders Reviews patient-specific information in cases where the site has specifically requested assistance in resolving issues or coveragechallenges Ensures all actions taken create a positive impact on the patient journey and the brand experience Serves as payer expert for assigned geography and provides feedback to internal teams on local payer trends and access issues Performs other duties as required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with direct payer policy including managed care and Medicare/Medicaid Minimum of 3 years of benefit verifications and prior-authorization requirements experience or equivalent experience in specialty pharma, home infusion or infusion centers Preferred experience: Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems, buy/bill product(s), specialty pharmacies and/orinfusion, launching new specialty products Extensive knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors Infusion site of care experience, including HOPD and physician owned facilities Self-direction coupled with strong organizational skills Outstanding interpersonal skills, consultative approach, and customer orientation; proven ability to build and maintain strongworking relationships with internal and external customers Strong communication skills: oral, written, training/presentation Proficient in MS Office Must be able to travel up to 60-70% domestically Valid driver’s license to drive to healthcare provider sites Must be fully vaccinated (as defined by the CDC) against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed.

The salary range for this position is $108,000 - $172,000.
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
This salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
This position is eligible to participate in the quarterly sales incentive plan in place at the time.
