Granicus' Swagit team in Dallas, TX is hiring entry-level, part-time Streaming Video Technical Directors.
This is an entry level, part time role that can turn your love of live streaming into a full-fledged career! What does a Streaming Video Technical Director do and what does your impact look like? Streaming Video Technical Directors are responsible for dynamically switching cameras, and broadcasting Live government meeting productions from all across the country using Swagit's own proprietary broadcast systems.
The meetings may include, but are not limited to: - City Councils - Planning and Zoning - County Commissioner Courts - School Boards of Education - State Departmental Boards - Local city productions, and many other meetings! You'll love this job if you have - Availability to work from Noon to 2 am CST.
Applicants who are unable or unwilling to work these hours will not be considered.
May include flexible shifts on Mondays - Fridays.
Must be willing to work holidays if needed.
Schedules are based upon workload.
While knowledge of live television technical directing is great, experience with switching cameras or inputs through consumer streaming software like Streamlabs OBS, Open Broadcast Software (OBS) or XSplit is accepted.
Knowledge and experience with TriCaster, Broadcast Pix or vMix are great but also not required.
(We provide in-house training for use of our broadcast systems.
) Note: Please do not apply if you are looking for creative post-production work or are unable to work Monday and Tuesday nights.
We expect all employees to arrive on-time to work and coordinate with co-workers, who are not scheduled at the same time, if circumstances prevent an employee from being present as scheduled in advance.
What is needed? Employees must arrive on-time to work and be engaged with their respective job duties.

Onsite work - This position is not Remote and must report to our Headquarters office in Dallas, TX.
Temporary positions - These positions are temporary, part time roles that are set to work through the end of May 2024.
$12 - $12 an hour These positions are part time, temporary roles that are scheduled to work through the end of May 2024.
They are ideal for recent grads, or current students that are able to work afternoons and evenings.
Follow-on work after May 2024 is possible but not guaranteed.
