ROLE OVERVIEW The Clinical Director is responsible for the effective implementation of the organization’s clinical goals, procedures, protocols, and workflow in accordance with the mission and The Joint Commission’s standards of compliance.
The Clinical Director strives to enhance patient care through management of clinical responsibilities and opportunities.
COMPENSATION: $80,000/annually OFFICE: Dallas/Fort Worth Area and surrounding offices KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for development and maintenance of regulatory standards and protocols as well as compliance with all standards · Responsible for reporting key performance metrics and data regularly to division leadership and medical leadership in accordance with the company’s strategies and processes · Work in conjunction with the clinical compliance coordinator to manage and direct the CQI process as well as trends with therapist and psychologist quarterly chart audits · Maintain a clinical caseload equal to 20% or 1 day a week · Oversee implementation of and compliance with LifeStance Tridiuum Outcome protocols and collaborate with medical leadership · Work with Operations & Training Coordinator and Regional Lead Clinicians to oversee and assure successful onboarding process for new clinicians, including assisting with interviewing and AdvancedMD training needed post start date · Provide ongoing supervision, training, and communication with therapy and psychology clinicians · Analyze and identify clinical issues and take prompt measures toward rectification · Oversees the maintenance and continued clinical development of electronic health record (AdvancedMD) · Develop clinical strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the division as needed along with a communication and rollout plan to implement · Provide follow through communication with patients who express concerns about care and work in conjunction with the clinical compliance coordinator to investigate and resolve Ombudsman and patient complaints · In conjunction with the HR department, establish benchmarks and metrics to develop a yearly performance review to evaluate provider’s performance and assess clinical competencies · Participate in weekly management meetings and monthly operations meetings · Responsible for the development and maintenance of Joint Commissions standards where applicable · Other tasks as assigned by Division President SKILLS & EXPERIENCE · Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field · 10+ years of relevant clinical work and leadership experience · Ability to lead, supervise and collaborate · Ability to work independently and as a team member · Strong organizational and follow through skills and attention to detail · Extremely strong clinical skills and knowledge of licensure requirements · Significant problem-solving capability · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal · Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture.
