Safety Net Program Director Classification Reports to: Director of Specialty Programs JOB SUMMARY SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provide leadership to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective services and special programs as assigned in compliance with departmental grants and contracts.
•Identify and develop new programs and funding opportunities for high-priority target populations consistent with the organization's mission.
•Develop and execute annual programmatic operating plan including setting for supervised programs.
•Monitor programmatic goals and objectives; budget development; meeting funder and accreditation requirements and fiscal accountability to achieve positive cash flow for program services.
•Coordinates in-service education opportunities to meet contract requirements and staff professional development.
Assure training and orientation for all job duties for new hires in supervised programs.
•Develop and execute quality assurance and monitoring activities to track program outcomes and assure compliance with program accrediting and funding agencies for supervised programs.
•Serve as CFGC liaison to area committees and initiatives to promote visibility and accessing of services as needed.
•Other administrative duties as assigned by COO.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: •Strong understanding and ability to work with diverse populations including various cultures, racial groups, and socio-economic levels.
•Strong interpersonal and clinical skills to develop a strong clinical team to execute programs.
•Strong leadership development, personnel supervision, and management skills.
•Strong program coordination and ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Medisoft billing and scheduling systems or similar products.
•High-level communication and writing skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: •Possess a bachelor’s degree (master's degree preferred) in social services or a related specialty from a regionally accredited college or university.
Must meet state standards to run programs under supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting, and driving.
