seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Design and construct the mobile and digital applications with in the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology (PBWMT) division.
Support J2EE infrastructure and applications development teams.
Support all phases of the digital software development lifecycle, including interfacing with the business and requirements team on functional analysis, technical design, technical development, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance of the Digital Applications utilizing Java, Kotlin, XML, JSON, Gradle, Jenkins, Android studio, HP QC, Microservices, cloud computing, GIT, Jira.
Provide technical leadership to junior programmers.
Participate in technical discussions to design and enhance core platform products.
Perform interface with application teams to explain, understand and address core digital features, while working closely with software architects to make sure the digital applications adheres to the technology roadmap and design charters.
Support the quality assurance team during the product test phase, in addition to supporting the Business during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Test phases.
Conduct bug fixes and level-3 support to troubleshoot Production problems, while researching and evaluating new technologies from Open Source and Vendor products.
Accountable for executing and driving results on multiple large-scale efforts.
Work collaboratively with UX (user interface) designers, product managers, technical program managers, and partner with teams to ensure wholesome functioning of the application.
Communicate to tech and non-tech audiences.
Manage and complete projects from design phase to implementation phase.
A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology and Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Digital Software Engineer or related position involving designing mobile and digital applications for a global financial services institution.
2 years of experience must include: Mobile application development utilizing Java, Git, Android Studio, Gradle, Kotlin; CICD and Agile methodology; Splunk, postman, Rest API; Crash and performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms; Debugging, Android Debug bridge, and standardize code using sonarLint; Working with UX designers, product managers, technical program managers, and partner teams; Making architectural decisions; Mentoring new members and technical onboarding; Integrating Google Maps and using API keys for rendering maps; and Encryption technologies for encrypting and decrypting payloads.
