About the Role: Job Title: Technical Project Manager Details: We are looking for a talented and experienced technical project manager to lead the implementation of GitHub Copilot, an AI-powered code assistant, across our organization.
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of this innovative and transformative project, ensuring its alignment with our business goals and IT standards.
As a technical project manager, you will work closely with the program manager, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define the technical requirements, design the technical architecture, and deliver the technical solutions for the GitHub Copilot rollout.
You will also ensure the quality, security, and performance of the GitHub Copilot integration, and troubleshoot any technical issues or risks that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical skills and knowledge, as well as project management skills and experience.
You must be familiar with GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered code generation tools, and their applications, advantages, and limitations.
You must also have a keen understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks and challenges related to AI-powered code generation, especially in the financial services sector.
You must also have excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the program manager and other stakeholders to understand the business objectives and scope of the GitHub Copilot rollout program Define the technical requirements, specifications, and deliverables for the GitHub Copilot integration, and ensure they meet the business needs and IT standards Design the technical architecture and infrastructure for the GitHub Copilot integration, and ensure they are scalable, reliable, and secure Manage the technical development, testing, and deployment of the GitHub Copilot integration, and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality Monitor and evaluate the technical performance, functionality, and usability of the GitHub Copilot integration, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement and optimization Identify and mitigate any technical issues or risks that may impact the GitHub Copilot integration, and provide timely and effective solutions Document and communicate the technical progress, status, and outcomes of the GitHub Copilot integration, and report any issues or risks to the program manager and other stakeholders Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in AI-powered code generation and related technologies, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies Manage curation and collection of quantitative and qualitative metrics across a scaled rollout of Github Copilot.
Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master’s degree or is a plus Proven experience as a technical project manager or similar role, preferably in the software development or financial services industry Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered code generation tools, and their applications, advantages, and limitations.
Experience with AWS is required.
Proficiency in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as Python, Golang, SQL, GitHub, AWS, etc.
Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex and large-scale IT systems and solutions, especially in cloud environments Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker, is a plus Knowledge of the legal and regulatory frameworks and challenges related to AI-powered code generation, especially in the financial services sector Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive change and innovation Proficiency in G-Workspace applications, project management software, and other relevant tools and platforms Location: Plano, TX Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $95,000 annually.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
