This position is based in Plano, TX.

#Cyber Toyota’s CSRM group is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Senior Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in following our secure-by-design methodology, to ensure security is built-in to the connected vehicle ecosystem for North America & with global Toyota stakeholders.
This role is crucial in assessing & mitigating risk, staying current with evolving threats, & aligning cybersecurity efforts with the overall business objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager II, the person in this role will join the Product Cybersecurity Group to deploy security solutions for applications in a more connected vehicle environment.
What you’ll be doing Highest level of analytical, interpretive, and evaluative advice.
Value-added advice and counsel to senior management/executives.
Advisor to senior advisor management and executives with a broad subject matter expertise of strategic value.
Leadership, direction, and control of a department or major function.
Development of results-oriented plans and oversight of day-to-day management for results.
Interpretation, execution, and recommendation of modifications to organize policies.
Decisions that impact a functional area within a business/resource unit, and may impact multiple departments.
What you bring Extensive Cybersecurity Experience: ideally in an IOT-based domain Advanced degree preferred Expertise from a complex/strategy field Technical Expert: Cybersecurity subject matter expert with hands-on experience in software development & technical leadership for systems, software, or hardware engineering.
Experience designing end-to-end systems that have both an embedded system & connected component (e.
g.
, cloud, mobile).
Communication & Collaboration: Effective communicator to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Possess the mindset to increase the broad organization, rather than treating it as a collection of individual teams & working with global stakeholders.
Structure for teams to ensure the right people are in the right seat with clearly defined responsibilities.
Leadership & Management: Possess the “intrapreneurial” mindset, to think like an owner, creating enterprise-wide changes.
Additionally, use your leadership skills to attract, hire, & retain a talented team with a broad range of experiences and strengths, keeping in mind the long-term health and success of the organization.
Staffing knowledge to appropriately set up success, placing the strongest technical leaders where they are the most impactful Added bonus if you have OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other similar professional certifications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.
