Industrial Networking Solutions (INS) is seeking a highly motivated and accountable associate for an IT Manager within the IT organization.
This position is responsible for technical support, technical solution and development for systems that promote the INS business strategy with high quality, affordable, reliable, and secure solutions.
This position will frequently collaborate with business leadership for best solution, and interface directly with operational and IT leaders.
Teamwork This position requires technical collaboration and an understanding of emerging technologies for unique solutions.
This position requires an understanding and appreciation of multiple job roles, and frequently requires a team effort with sales, operations, management, IT and other engineering disciplines.
This position must provide effective and positive feedback to INS team members on difficult solutions and must be able to describe technical requirements to other team members for a successful solution.
Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Certifications - Microsoft Azure Administrator (required), Cisco CCNA or other relevant industry certifications a plus.
3-5 years of experience with strong knowledge in Azure Active Directory administration, including user and group management, role-based access control, and Azure AD Connect.
Demonstrated expertise in network administration, including configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Experience in WAN (Wide Area Network) technologies, including MPLS, SD-WAN, and VPN solutions to establish secure and efficient connections between remote locations.
Proficient in network monitoring and management tools to ensure the stability and performance of the merged network infrastructure.
Skill in implementing and managing network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security, to protect merged networks from threats.
Strong understanding of cloud services and their integration, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to support remote site consolidation.
Proficiency in managing Azure cloud storage solutions, such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage, and Azure Disk Storage.
Expertise in network design and implementation to connect and integrate multiple remote sites seamlessly.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols to optimize data flow across the network.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, to centralize resources and applications.
Familiarity with remote access technologies to ensure secure connectivity for remote users, including VPN, remote desktop services, or VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
Ability to work with different operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, to facilitate cross-platform compatibility.
Knowledge of, and ability to implement and maintain, disaster recovery and backup solutions to safeguard data and services during the merging process.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the consolidation of remote sites.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and remote site personnel.
Experience in documenting network configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference and maintenance.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements related to network consolidation and data protection.
Experience in infrastructure management, including planning, implementing, and maintaining on-premises servers, storage, and networking equipment.
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory for on-premises server support.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for PCs and servers, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Experience managing and supporting multiple VoIP solutions.
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools for IT tasks, such as PowerShell.
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations, such as GDPR, or ISO 27001, and the ability to implement and maintain compliance requirements.
Flexibility and adaptability to stay updated on the latest technology trends and industry best practices.
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Additional Requirements: Available for on-call support and willingness to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
Remote travel will be required to satellite offices 1- 2 times per quarter (US travel only).
Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Willing to work in person at INS Corporate offices in Richardson, TX.
Able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Able to pass criminal background check and drug testing.
