SOLUTION-OPTION 2: You may hire a structural engineer to evaluate the foundation of the home you are considering buying.
This could also take a week or two or longer to schedule, and in the end you will be charged 350 to 450 dollars for a concrete-slab foundation evaluation, and even more for a pier and beam foundation evaluation.

**Advanced Foundation Evaluation - (Concrete-Slab): 105.
00 to 125.

INCLUDES:

The interior and exterior of the home will be visually inspected.
B.
Measurements will be taken of the inside of the homes foundation with a certified Zip Level.
C.
The measurements will be recorded on a floor plan grid and supplied to the customer.
D.
If piers are needed, the floor plan grid will include a pier placement recommendation, including an industry standard cost estimate of the project.
E.
Will end with a 10 to 20 minute consultation, including a question and answer session.
