HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
As part of TxB’s global risk team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard) and internal Risk teams.
The role will ensure operational goals and compliance metrics are met, and that all activity is conducted in accordance with Card Network rules and applicable federal, state, and local law.
We are looking for someone with lots of energy that has excellent communication skills, enjoys product and engineering challenges, and can operate in a highly fluid, rapidly changing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor Card Network rules and regulations, assessing and communicating impact, and overseeing programmatic delivery of new or changed requirements to completion
Liaise between Card Networks and Partners on compliance matters, general requests for information, and variance requests
Build and uphold strong, long-lasting partnerships with a solution-oriented approach to deliver exceptional customer service
Support overall TxB Risk program buildout and implementation, provide oversight of key policies and procedures, and coordinate various governance forums
Provide cross functional support to Payment Operations, Client Services and Product teams
Identify, create, and refine necessary KPI’s to define success and track progress, developing a strong set of outcome-based metrics
Master the data environment to appropriately prioritize actions to uphold the integrity of the payment ecosystem
Support Partner due diligence and ongoing refreshes
Collaborate closely with second line of defense (2LOD) and third line of defense (3LOD) partners
Establish trusted partnerships with peers, functional leads, and executive level stakeholders
Update and maintain documentation for team processes and best practices
Manage ongoing and detailed project plans to drive key deliverables to completion
Provide clear and concise updates to leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of relevant experience in card payment processing, preferably in a risk, audit or compliance function
Ability to analyze internal and external processes and integration to understand risks and identify controls
Understanding of relevant audit and control standards and the ability to drive and maintain the compliance
Ability to be creative, collaborate widely and deliver on key risk objectives in a fast-paced start-up environment
Strong presentation skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, and leadership presence
Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environment
Ability to manage several projects/tasks simultaneously
Team oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
Fluent in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior Transaction Banking/Commercial Banking/Payments experience
Prior Card Network/Payment Processing experience
