We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team.
The position will support performing all phases of complex integrated audit engagements with a primary focus on IT process and controls.
You will need to be able to multi-task and have strong customer-service oriented skills, independently managing and prioritizing the multiple projects to which you will be assigned.
You must be self-motivated in learning new things and be able to articulate and share your knowledge with team members as well as work effectively individually or as a leader of peers on your team.
This position can be based out of any Jack Henry office location or remote from any US location.
What you'll be responsible for: Effectively cooperate and interact within an interactive project team.
Oversee the work of less experienced auditors and assist in the completion of worksteps within complex, risk-based internal audit engagements.
Lead respectful and effective interactions with various personnel across the organization to understand processes, gather information, and test processes and controls.
Serve as a subject matter expert in performing root cause analysis to understand gaps and provide appropriate recommendations.
Monitor status of management action plans.
Research and recommend process, security, operations, or compliance enhancements.
Coordinate tasks with internal and external assurance providers and risk assessors.
Consult on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives.
Participate in department quality assurance and continuous improvement program.
Prepare written reports that clearly and concisely communicate observations, risks, recommendations, and management action plans.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.
Must have a minimum 6 years of combined experience in IT/internal audit, public accounting and/or IT operations or security.
Experience with COBIT 5 or NIST Guidance.
Must have experience with audit writing or reporting.
Must have experience with IT general controls testing.
Must have experience auditing operating systems and working with enterprise IT departments.
A relevant professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CFE, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CIA, PMP, CITP, or CPA).
Must be able to travel up to 10% for meetings with internal and external leaders, priority projects, networking, and training.
What would be nice for you to have: Advanced degree.
Experience within financial services, e-commerce, payment systems or tech industry.
IT risk assessment, vulnerability assessment or penetration testing experience.
Strong understanding and experience with IT security techniques.
Understanding and experience with cloud providers and services.
Experience consulting on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives.
Experience with data analytics techniques.
Internal control maturity modeling and gap analysis skills.
Knowledge of GRC systems including standard functions and reporting Experience as a mentor, team or project lead, or supervisor.
