This job is a member of the Corporate Accounting team within our Finance division.
Responsible for bank reconciliations, unclaimed property reporting, reviewing reports, and posting journal entries in connection with the Company’s corporate accounting process.
What you'll do
Performs basic accounting functions associated with the Corporate Accounting Process
Researches and resolves accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including correspondence with external contacts, when necessary
Edits/audits transactions on a recurring basis
Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to aid in the department's/company's achievement of goals and business objectives
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalency or equivalent experience/training
2 year accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with SAP
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Familiarity with general accounting principles/procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
