The Payroll Administrator will process payroll and perform accounting dutieswithin the Business Office.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Payroll
Process bi-weekly payroll, including funding ACH’s, and issuance of manual checks when necessary.
Work with Paycom to resolve all payroll and reporting issues in a timely manner.
Research outstanding items as needed.
Provide training to Parker employees and supervisors on usage of the Paycom system
Maintain all payroll files and faculty contracts
Accounting Duties
Monthly payroll entries and reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts
Miscellaneous
Keep Supervisors appraised regarding work status, schedule delays, need for overtime or available time to assist elsewhere.
Any other duties as deemed necessary.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree with major course work in accounting or four (4) years of accounting and payroll experience, or with at least six (6) years’ experience in accounting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Visual acuity to use a keyboardand view a computer terminal.
Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC.
:
Advanced knowledge of computers including specific knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software and databases.
Familiarity with accounting and payroll processes and regulations, math computations and English grammar.
Communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of employees.
Experience with ADP and Paycom systems.
Familiarity with Concur T&E Reporting is helpful.
Demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
