Tax Preparer/ Must Know how to prepare tax returns

Responsibilities: - Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses - Lacerte tax software is a plus - Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to determine tax liability - Utilize tax software and other tools to accurately calculate and file taxes - Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax preparation - Analyze financial data to identify potential deductions, credits, and exemptions - Maintain client confidentiality and protect sensitive information Qualifications: - Strong math skills with the ability to accurately calculate taxes - Knowledge of financial concepts and market trends - Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients - Familiarity with corporate accounting principles - Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry - Experience in financial sales or related field is a plus - Understanding of tax laws and regulations, including knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes - Ability to analyze financial data and identify areas for optimization or improvement - Proficiency in using tax software, such as QuickBooks, is preferred This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
