Their primary role is maintain accurate accounting records, supporting operations, track expenses and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Description
Maintain the posting, correcting, reporting, and production of accounts receivables and payables in accordance with hotel SOPs to ensure accurate, timely information is available for reporting
Handle balancing and reconciliation of complex transactions
Meet all deadlines necessary to complete month-end in the allowed time
Assist in preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries
Verify and post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records; prepare statements and vouchers
This role will work on interdepartmental projects as needed.
Qualifications
4+ years of accounting experiences within the hotel, hospitality or relatable industry
BS Degree in Accounting highly preferred
Hard-working and detailed personality
Keen eye for detail and a love for all things numbers
A drive to grow and learn
