*Your Role (High level):*
Apply Cost Analysis practices, techniques, processes and procedures to complete comprehensive analyses in various aspects and components of assigned projects for McKissack clients
*Your Role (Logistics):*
Reporting To: Client Project Controls Manager
Who Reports to You: N/A
Where You Work: Client Site (Dallas, TX)
Your Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
*Your Role (Responsibilities):*
· Manage the Program budget, budget-to-actuals, recording budget transfers, encumbrances (obligations) and expenses (invoices) for all Silver Line contracts
· Meet weekly with Project Controls Manager and SMEs to obtain updates on budgets, forecasts, and other changes with an impact to project budget
· Prepare analyses of budget scenarios with recommendations
· Prepare monthly reports for Project Controls Manager with updates on budget, contracts, and other monthly expenditures and forecasts
· Generate cash flows
· Prepare spreadsheets, identify trends, and forecast estimate-at-complete and other analysis as required
· Participate in review and approval of invoices and Pay Applications
· Monitor Betterment budgets
· Prepare presentations and reports to client and FTA (PMOC)
· Prepare written memorandum to file justifying all budget actions
· Monitor and report on program & project contingency
· Responsible for maintaining files in SharePoint and uploading completed final versions to client network
· Participate in audits and corrective action as required
· Other duties as assigned
*What We NEED You to Have:*
· MINIMUM Associate’s Degree OR MINIMUM 5 years previous experience in Cost Analysis role in Construction Industry
· MINIMUM 7 years’ experience using Word, Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft programs
· Strong communication skills, previous composing formal memos, and monthly reports (client staff, Board of Directors, etc.
) and external customers (Contractors, FTA, etc.
).
· Previously demonstrated “on-the-job” experience using strong organizational skills, to perform scheduling tasks or activities to meet established timelines
· Proven experience using initiative, ambition, interpersonal skills, and problem solving in the Civil Engineering and/or construction field
*What we WANT you to Have:*
· Previous “on-the-job” experience with Microsoft BI (data visualization software)
· 3 years’ professional experience in cost analysis or budgeting
· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
