Position Summary
Responsible to manage and maintain all aspects of cost accounting discipline and business partnership in both the manufacturing operations as well as the field service.
Essential Job Functions
Monthly close oversight, driving efficient close execution, making key decisions during the close process, providing balance sheet ownership, and issues resolution
Improving accounting and control procedures, strengthening product cost construction and analysis, implementing cost controls, enhancing fixed asset accounting practices, and strengthening overall cost controllership and control procedures for field subcontractors
Drive business partnerships through efficiency initiatives, working capital management, and return on capital employed to ensure that they are adequately measured, managed, and achieved
Assisting with proposing and assessing capital expenditure projects
Responsible for all standard costing activities for the Healthcare North America business units
Partner with the Healthcare Finance team to drive sound business decisions and margin expansion
Responsible for the completion of the Healthcare North America business unit’s annual physical inventories
Work with the businesses to implement process control strategies around functional areas and IT systems specifically focused on process simplification, automation, standardization, and internal control enhancements
Simplify revenue recognition/expense reconciliations
Partner with Supply Management and Healthcare Operations to improve on areas such as minimum stock requirements, RMA process, and drive accountability for actions focused on E&O reduction
Partner with Operations & Global Shared Services to streamline the goods receipt process, reduce un-vouched balances and resolve AP issues
Manage the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes of the assigned manufacturing units
Provide management with daily, weekly, and monthly strategic tools, monitors & reports to drive the business results
Ensure that the financial reporting processes are in accordance with GAAP and the Company’s Financial Procedures
Maintain strong internal controls throughout the business unit to adequately safeguard the assets of the company and to identify potential risks in a timely manner
Support external and internal auditors when applicable to ensure successful audit completion and remediation of issues found and execution of internal business reviews and internal controls testing

in Finance or Accounting is required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing accounting environment
Demonstrated record of success in finance/accounting (including Manufacturing Accounting) fields
Ability to lead organizational change and partner with other BU functions
Strong analytical and problem solving/trouble shooting skills
Experience in standard costing and inventory management
SAP & Great Plains experience preferred
Detail oriented and have the ability to work independently
