Overview
The Investment Banking Analyst role is integral to the success of each line of business it supports, helping to drive the strategic vision set forth by Texas Capital Bank.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to process large amounts of information, communicating in a clear and concise manner, and develop thoughtful analyses, all while maintaining a strong and efficient attention to detail.
Depending on alignment, key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Create financial analyses
Prepare client and prospect cash flow and capital structure models
Proactively provide articles, industry information, and other resources to bankers for distribution to relevant clients/prospects
Create pitchbooks and client advisory presentations
Create and direct the preparation of pricing and return analysis
Coordinate internal discussions
Exception tracking, clearing & reporting
Create client profiles
Identify cross-sell opportunities
Schedule deal discussion meetings
Understand and present exposure aggregation
Special projects as needed
Prepare lender and investor presentations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Commercial Banking, or equivalent/relevant program
Experience in Investment Banking (Leveraged Finance experience preferred)
Formal Credit training preferred
Interest in a long-term career in Investment Banking
Passion for financial services and delivering superior client experiences
Extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative
Effective team players who want to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint in order to produce reports, memos, and presentations
