The role: As a Senior Property Tax Consultant you will help our clients as you process, document, and file all necessary aspects of the property tax filing cycle.
This consultative position places a high value on client relationships and requires strong project management skills.

Our Senior Property Tax Consultant position is an excellent career opportunity for specialized accounting professionals who may be looking for a career outside of the typical “big firm” or corporate career path.
What you will do:
Effectively communicate with CPAs and clients to understand goals and needs.
Process various tax bills, assessments, and refunds in a timely manner.
Build understanding and knowledge of necessary statutory deadline requirements to meet filing requirements for clients.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including the documentation of all mailings, and assisting with certified mail, when needed.
Review and prepare property tax returns based on client information.
Correspond with tax jurisdictions regarding assessments, valuations, refunds, bills, and notices to ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
Keep record of all documentation needed for each client in an organized manner through accurate data entry and filing practices.
Collaborate with internal personnel on identifying viable client opportunities and assist in client benefit projections.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting, finance, or related field.
2+ years’ experience with property tax is required.
Confidence and professionalism to effectively communicate via email, phone, and in person with clients and accountants to understand goals and needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and excellent ability to meet deadlines and work together on a fast-paced team.
A valid United States driver’s license.
Ability to travel independently or as part of a team to client locations throughout the USA.
