The selected candidate shall be an analytical professional specializing in medium and low voltage switchgear design; power system planning, operation and control; and distributed energy systems engineering and integration.
We desire a collaborative communicator who is focused on building relationships and promoting synergy across business lines.
The selected candidate will manage and be involved in all phases of projects from pre-proposal involvement to design, production, and construction.
The position also requires conducting meetings with clients and mentoring junior engineers and designers on the Mbroh Team.
*Position Responsibilities* · Manage preparation of detailed calculations, drawings, and technical specifications · Manage development of procurement documents, including drawings and specifications for design and construction phases · Prepare and evaluate proposals, technical reports, and cost estimates · Conduct detailed engineering analyses required for procurement and construction purposes · Conduct meetings and build relationships with the client to review project details and requirements · Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals *Desired Skills and Experience* · Manage overall design of assigned power systems projects, including engine generators, paralleling switchgear, protective relaying, medium and low voltage electrical distribution equipment, lighting systems, and associated electrical schemes and controls · Conduct all required electrical specification sections · Mentor junior engineers and designers, provide design direction and constructive feedback · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university · Professional Engineering license in Texas · 5 to 10 years of related engineering experience desired, ideally in the consulting field, or working with a full-service Architecture/Engineering Firm (A/E) or Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) firm · Experience in water and wastewater treatment processes is a plus *Additional Information* Mbroh Engineering, Inc.
