Position Summary Avantax is seeking a Senior Integrations Partner who will be responsible for the due diligence, closing, transition, and assimilation of Financial Advisor businesses to Avantax Planning Partners (W-2 RIA model).
This is a unique opportunity to join our team to serve as the primary point of contact in planning and transitioning Financial Advisors while delivering a best-in-class experience.
The Senior Integrations Partner will operate with a high level of influence and interaction with all levels of the organization, including Financial Advisors.
In addition, the ideal candidate would be responsible for managing and directing the work of cross-functional teams to ensure successful business transitions.
This role is a highly visible and critical enabler of our acquisition growth strategy and goals.
The ideal candidate must be able to engage in strategic and operational discussions with advisors, their staff, and the Avantax executive team.
Being solution-oriented and able to deal with difficult situations as well as conduct difficult conversations is critically important for this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities The major responsibilities of the position are listed below.

Provide hands-on support to the financial advisors in order to help them transition their clients and accounts quickly and seamlessly.
Manage the relationship and experience of new financial advisors and firms during their transition and assimilation into Avantax.
Execute multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Familiarity with operations topics including ACATs, broker-dealer changes, tape-to-tape transfers, and re-papering requirements.
Strong familiarity with the day-to-day operations of an office.
Collaborate across the firm to identify opportunities and create solutions to expedite and improve the transition and assimilation process.
Strong project management qualifications are a must.
Strong communication skills and professionalism are a must.
Ability to work independently or as part of a group on projects.
Active participant in the ideation and execution of initiatives to help evolve the overall onboarding, transition, and assimilation process.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree.
7+ years of experience in client service and business transitions in the wealth management industry.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability and desire to influence, and work, with high-performing teams.
Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
Series 7 license and Series 24 license are a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Effort Keying/typing, standing, walking.
Sitting for an extended period.
Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in an office environment.
The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during the normal performance of the job.
Comprehensive Benefits We offer a competitive salary, and an outstanding benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) with the company.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $139,000 per year; Variable incentive compensation eligible.
