Auto Technician/Mechanic

One of the Metroplex's oldest independent auto dealers needs a Mid-Level/Heavy Line/General Technician.

We have a constant flow of inventory being reconditioned to sell as well as a built in customer base.
*WE DO NOT RUN OUT OF WORK AND ARE NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GET US CAUGHT UP.
* We are always busy! * Repair and/or replace defective parts * Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance * Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments and parts replacement * Occasional heavy line duties including motor and transmission replacement ​Qualifications: * At least 5 years experience as an automotive technician * Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills * Must have good driving record and valid drivers license * Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Benefits include employer paid medical insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), supplemental insurances available such as dental/vision and disability.
8:00 - 6:00 Monday thru Friday work week.
Rate of pay will be determined by experience and ability.
